Repair Shop Information & Policy:
- Drop off is 10am to 4 pm M-F, shoot me an email or Text with information about your gear, and the issue(s) you are experiencing. Note, it can take a few days for me to respond.
- I am limiting my intake to (primarily) items that have a value of $500 or more. There are some exceptions. notably stomp box pedals
- I take a deposit (per item) upon drop off, $100 for instrument amplifiers and $125 for Pro Audio and Keyboards, which goes towards the repair cost at the end. The deposit will be due upon drop-off. This is non-refundable.
- Depending on my workload, it can take 2-4 weeks to receive a repair estimate after drop-off. If you have a deadline, please let me know.
- My labor rate is $100/hour + parts for instrument amplifiers and $125/hour for pro audio and keyboards Typically, gear is billed for 1.5-3 hours of labor depending on the issues. My minimum charge is $100 for intrument amps and $125 for Pro Audio and Keyboards.
- I try to keep total turnaround time at 4-6 weeks, but this can be prolonged due to an extensive backlog, difficult/time-consuming restorations, or parts scarcity. Keep in mind I treat each item like my own. It can take hours (or days) to get your gear in its best shape.
- Upon completion, you will receive an invoice by text or email. Payment is due immediately. After 5 days, there will be a 3.5% increase per day until the invoice is paid.
- Once I notify you that your amp is complete, please pick it up within 10 days. Failure to do so will result in a $10/day storage fee. If you are out of town or are unable to pick up within the 10 days, please let me know!
- If you do not pick up your gear within 45 days, it will become the property of Slemmons.
- I warranty my work for 90 days, so if anything comes up after the repair, please let me know!
